USA Flooring Supports Workforce Skills Bill

Sen. Ted Budd and Sen. Bill Cassidy reintroduced the Employer-Directed Skills Act to modernize workforce training by reducing red tape and improving employer access to Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) skills programs. The bill would help employers identify prospective trainees, select or design training that fits real job needs, and use WIOA funding to offset training costs. USA Flooring and the Floor Covering Education Foundation voiced support for the effort to strengthen skilled trades and create clearer pathways into good-paying jobs.
