For over 40 years USA Flooring has serviced the homes and businesses of North Carolina. For two generations we have lived, worked, and raised our families here. North Carolina is our home.

Established In 1972

USA Flooring opened in the early 1970s as a full-service flooring store in Frederick, Maryland, operating then as Ken Lloyd’s Carpet Towne. In 1984, Mr. Lloyd opened locations in both Raleigh and Fayetteville. These two stores operated as flooring outlets that provided a large selection of in-stock flooring. But Mr. Lloyd soon learned his customers wanted a broader flooring selection and an option for a quality installation. He bridged the concepts of a flooring outlet with that of a full-service retail store. This began the concept of providing customers an opportunity to find quality flooring and installation at discount pricing.

Core Values

At USA Flooring, we stand committed to a set of guiding principles that define our character and culture; these are our core values. They represent the essence of our company’s identity and underpin our decisions, actions, and behaviors. Our core values are Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Transparency, and Legacy. Here’s what each value means to us:

We conduct our business with the highest standards of honesty, ethics, and moral rectitude. Integrity is the cornerstone of all our interactions — with clients, suppliers, and among ourselves. We believe in doing the right thing, even when no one is watching, ensuring our actions align with our words.

We take ownership of our actions and their outcomes. At USA Flooring, accountability means acknowledging our responsibilities, meeting our commitments, and correcting our mistakes. It’s about being reliable and dependable, consistently delivering on our promises to our customers and to each other.

We achieve more when we work together. Teamwork is the lifeblood of our success at USA Flooring. By collaborating effectively, respecting each other’s opinions, and supporting one another, we create a synergistic environment that transcends individual capabilities. Together, we tackle challenges, innovate, and achieve excellence.

Transparency is about fostering openness and honesty in all our dealings. We believe in clear communication, sharing information freely, and creating an atmosphere of trust. By being transparent, we invite our stakeholders into the heart of our operations, building stronger, more authentic relationships.

Our commitment to legacy reflects our aspiration to make a lasting impact. It’s about creating a better future through sustainable practices, community involvement, and ethical business operations. We aim to leave behind a strong foundation that will support and inspire generations to come.

We are proud to uphold these values as we continue to serve our customers, support our employees, and contribute positively to our community.
